australian famous pop star ayesha sagar Topless Photoshot

Aiysha Saagar's topless pictures in an Australian government's tourism campaign allegedly directed at Indians has created a furore.

But the Indian-Australian popstar says that the controversy is misdirected. Talking exclusively to DailyBhaskar.com Aiysha says that she was appointed the 'Goodwill Ambassador to India' by the Mayor of Gold Coast after she was introduced to him by Councillor La Castra who is also chairman of Community and Cultural Development in Australia.

Firstly the body paint photos were never taken to promote Gold coast in India or anywhere else for that matter. These photos were taken around 10 months ago. The photos are artistic and tastefully done and were never intended to portray Indian culture', Aiysha said. The sexy popstar also claims that the feedback from the Indian community by and large has been positive barring a 'few exceptions'. Citing Sunny Leone's stint with Bollywood as an example of changing Indian sensibilities, Aiysha says that there was nothing wrong in her topless photos.
